MIAMI—Sunglass Hut and the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation, in collaboration with Chapman Partnership, an emergency housing provider, announced that they held a five-day community vision clinic on Oct. 5-9 in Miami-Dade County, Fla. During the clinic, the organizations said 667 children and adults experiencing homelessness and housing instability received free comprehensive eye exams from licensed optometrists, as well as prescription glasses. Supported by volunteers, the clinic brought essential vision care directly to individuals and families who may otherwise have limited access to eye exams and prescription eyewear, the announcement stated.
