Our Commitment
B-Seen is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.
Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML for proper document structure and screen reader compatibility
- Sufficient color contrast ratios across all text and interactive elements
- Keyboard navigation support throughout the platform
- Descriptive alt text for all meaningful images
- ARIA labels and roles where needed for assistive technologies
- Responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels
- Clear, consistent navigation and page structure
- Form labels and error messages that are programmatically associated with their inputs
- Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements
- Dark mode support to reduce eye strain
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may not yet be fully optimized:
- Third-party job listings sourced from external APIs may not meet our accessibility standards
- Uploaded resumes and documents may not be accessible if the original files are not
- Some older PDF documents may lack proper tagging for screen readers
Assistive Technologies
B-Seen is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
- Screen magnification software
- Speech recognition software
- Keyboard-only navigation
