NEW YORK—Marchon Eyewear, a VSP Vision company, announced with great sadness the passing of optical industry veteran Peter Skupien, who passed away on March 21, 2026 at the age of 64. For almost 30 years, Skupien was an integral part of the Marchon Eyewear organization—not only through his dedication and professional excellence, but also through the warmth, integrity, and kindness he brought to everyone around him, the company told VMAIL. Skupien started his career with Marchon Eyewear in 1997, setting up and building the Marchon Germany organization.
