In their article, Ghoraba et al. evaluated postoperative endophthalmitis after cataract surgery in the IRIS® Registry (Intelligent Research in Sight) and reported higher endophthalmitis rates in patients with uveitis and concomitant use of immunosuppressive therapy.1 We would like to point out several methodologic concerns with this study that may limit interpretation.
