BOSTON—The board of trustees at New England College of Optometry (NECO) has announced the honorees for its 132nd commencement exercises on May 17, 2026, at Boston’s Symphony Hall. The prestigious event will see honorary degrees conferred upon H. Eric Cushing and Yavar Ali Khan, RO, while the presidential medal will be presented to Yvette Waddell MBA, GAICD (UNSW), CEO of the Brien Holden Vision Institute. Additionally, Olivia Carey and Carly Davies have been named valedictorians for the Class of 2026.
